Packaging Information
The most common packaging for these products are post-consumer recycled (PCR) plastic mailer bags. If the order contains more than one product, after putting each item in a clear plastic bag, we place all items in a recycled plastic (PCR) mailer bag.
PCR plastics are made from items that people recycle daily, like plastic bags and bottles. The majority of our PCR plastics are made from plastic bags and shrink film.
The percentage of recycled plastic per bag depends on each center, but it’s at least 50% in the outer packaging (white or gray) and at least 30% in the inner bags (transparent) used for multi-item shipments.
In May 2022, we began a progressive change in our packaging from 90% to 100% post-consumer recycled (PCR) plastic for apparel products at fulfillment centers in North America.
